How to Install Windows 10 from a USB Drive using Rufus
Installing Windows 10 from a downloaded ISO file can be an efficient and convenient way to obtain a fresh copy of the operating system. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to install Windows 10 using Rufus, a popular utility for creating bootable USB drives.
What You Need:
- A Windows 10 installation media (downloaded from Microsoft)
- Rufus
- Your computer with internet connection
Step 1: Create the Bootable USB Drive
Before you can start the installation process, you need to create a bootable USB drive. To do this:
- Download the ISO file of your Windows 10 operating system from the official Microsoft website.
- Open Rufus on your computer and select the ISO file as the source.
